antique-office-chairs Free indicative tips on desk Side

About a year ago my office was notified we would be moving to a different floor in our office building and would be getting new Steelcase office furniture (cubicles and a chair). At the time I was using two monitors sitting on desk stands that didn’t have any adjustment range. One monitor stand was so short I had it sitting on a empty portable camera box to get the the monitor heights about even. The monitors took up a lot of desk space and I had to lean in to read the screens with my computer reading glasses. Our building services and IT folks had no suggestions so I did the reasearch on monitor stands and whether they would fit the new cubical desktops. Fortunately the new furniture had a cable route space gap at the back that would allow the C-Clamp mount to work fine. After researching all kinds of monitor stands online I found the Ergotron LX dual monitor stand fit my needs just right. The MSRP price was good and the Amazon price was excellent. Free shipping on top of that

I use a silicon mat with this tray, making it very useful for mealtime. Remove the mat and voile: it is a desk with convenient grooves for pencils and pens. The legs are hollow support pillars that create a space to store newspapers, magazines and the TV Guide. In addition, the central area of the tray tilts out to support books and magazines for optimum reading comfort. I like it a lot.

How can I stop fighting with my mother without giving in all the way?
Recently we’ve been fighting like everyday or the stupidest things. For instance we are redoing my room (which is rather small) and I have all of this furniture in it which she picked out from when I was a baby. There’s not enough room for all the furniture so the only thing that can antique furniture desks really just go into another room is this large antique (and ugly) vanity. The logical thing would be to get rid of it in order to get a much smaller desk but my mother will NOT let me put it in another room- even my father agrees with me. We got into the huge fight over it and of-course she won. I’m trying to get over it but I just can’t. It’s so annoying how she wins every single argument we have with threatening to take something away. That was just an example. We fight about what she says (she doesn’t remember saying things and then contradicts herself- mental disorder perhaps? :/ ) and other things along those lines.I guess I just have to continue doing homework on the floor…Any advice?

I purchased this stand to raise my laptop off the desk.
I have limited desk space and my keyboard and mouse are on a pull out drawer beneath the desk top. This makes work space available under the laptop.
I highly recommend the product for the above application or to raise you monitor or printer off a fixed surface. The construction is of a superior nature and extremely sturdy.

Is it bad to rest your head on a desk during an asthma attack?
I’ve noticed when I start wheezing during a bad attack, I will not have energy to keep my head Arm desk up. As a result I will either hold my head in my hands, elbows propped on the desk/table. OR I will lie my head down on my arms, which are folded on the table/desk. Is this a bad thing to do during an asthma attack? Does anyone else do this when they’re trying to focus on breathing due to lack of strength?
