More Titles For Front Writing Desk
21 September 2010

Front Writing desk was beyond my expectation. I had gotten at least 10 times less value of Front Writing desk.
What is a good Job Title for me to put on my resume to make it look good for grad school app?
What is the best way to put this on my resume?I’m applying to grad school (MBA) and they require 2 years of professional business experience, which I have, I just don’t know how to title it on my resume… (or should I list each job separately)I’m now 20 years old, but ever since I was 14 years old, I’ve worked for my mom. She own a mid-sized resort.age 14 – worked as a busboy/gift shop cashier/kid’s program managerage 15 – 16: mainly focused on being a kid’s program manager, here I would create weekly work schedules for the employees, make orders for inventory, Front Writing desk and manage operations…here is where my work becomes a bit more “professional”age 16: Working the Resort’s front desk, here I am responsible for handling room billing, correcting and adjusting room bills so they are correct. I take reservations, do check ins, check outs, and all general customer service needs.age 18 – 20 (present): I still work the resort’s front desk; however my mom has trained me as an internal auditor. Generally, mornings and afternoons till 3pm, I work the front desk as usual, and 3pm – 6pm I work as an auditor. Here I gather up all the financial figures from every department (gift shop, room rentals, restaurant, etc..) figure out the day’s profit, calculate cash to make sure all employees dropped the correct amount of money. After that I go into each reservation that has checked in and adjust their rooms for room charges (usually it’s like meal tickets for the restaurant) and I adjust for the correct number of adults and children. So anyway, this is my work experience so far, though I want to present it as professional as possible on my application for graduate school. Can you think of a good job title for me to put on my resume? I feel iike writing “front desk clerk” just doesn’t sound too thrilling for an MBA application. Any advise is very much appreciated!!Thank you!!
