I have a 17″ hp laptop and went back and forth before buying this lap desk. I read many reviews and decided to take the plunge. The desk has plenty of room for my laptop and a small laptop mouse. I am right handed and you do have to have your laptop off center in order to have a little room on the side. The cubby holders at the top are useful also for holding the mouse if not in use as well as a cell phone, etc. If you are looking for a desk that will hold a larger laptop along with room for a mouse this is the right chose. The price is right also!
