People, do you think people outside America cross bordering to America to shop is good for Amercian economy?
I would think yes, because America would Amercian Victorian mahogany be selling a lot of items, whereas Canada would be stuck with all their stock collecting dust in their retail stores.Plus, everyone outside America buying from America and having the return to their homes past the American border would have to pay customs tax on every purchase they buy.

How would you feel if some creep were following you and stalking you and grabbing your butt when you walked down the street? I doubt you’d like it. As far as the girls getting pregnant, I don’t hear them complaining about peeping toms and perverts…just stereotypical people who say they’re irresponsible.
Of course. Some, if not all, of the bad singers are fake. They know they’re bad and they do that just to get their 5 seconds of fame. Bad singers are the only reason that many people watch the auditions so producers send them to the main judges just for “better” TV.
Not very..look at the research and information compiled in the US statistical manual….I did a similar paper years ago and the facts are frightening… I am in the Special Educational field and I looked mostly at students with ‘learning disabilities’…The drop-out rate is significantly higher for these kids. But there are many more factors to include. ie… Socio-ecomic factors, racial percentage to the other population, teacher involvement….there is a basis for all of this. Look in the educational journals..especially if you have or your school library has ERIC. I found some of the most relevant information in places when looking in the prison system archives and such, because usually these kids will go to jail. statistically speaking..
last night was the second episodee(: it started back on june 22nd.. you can find the episodes somewhere online though..like abcfamily.com or surfthechannel.com
GDP includes the value of output produced (and/or earned) by foreign nationals and foreign corporations that are within American borders. Therefore, it can be argued that the GNP would be a more accurate measure of income earned by American citizens regardless of where they live and excluding the income earned by non-American citizens and foreign corporations. As far as your question, though, it sounds like what your professor is getting at is inflation. Obviously, the real GDP growth will be a lot smaller then the nominal rate because of inflation. However, I don’t think that going back only 10 years would make such a huge different since inflation rates in the US are low compared to most other countries in the world. If they looked at the GDP measures from the last 10 years using current dollars, they would conclude that the rate of economic growth was smaller than the nominal rate. If they examined the results using real dollars, they most likely would find that the rate is higher than using current dollars. It is all about inflation.Try googling “nominal GDP and real GDP” and nominal economic growth rates versus real growth rates.Good luck!
Try Maya Angelou “Equality” or “They Went Home” or Man Bigot” or “Seven Women’s Blessed Assurance” or “In My Missouri”. A lot of her stuff is about relationships, but a disparity between men and women is apparent.
If at hollister a t-shirt is only $15,& you just pitch in the extra 5 bucks to get a new shirt. This is definately NOT a reasonable price.
Hey! I’m in the UK and taking my SAT exam on May 2 this year :Sfirst you need to register- go to http://www.collegeboard.com – it tells you all about how to apply and everythingyou won’t be able to sign up for the may exam… the next exam this year is in june, but you must register by may 5 (http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/calenfees.html)also, it might be a good idea to get in contact with the Fulbright Commission (www.fulbright.co.uk) – their website has loads of info about studying in america, how to apply, uni fees and loads of useful tips. they also hold ‘College Days’ in London where a load of US unis come and set up stalls and you can talk to representatives/pick up prospectuses, etc.personally, I would take the SAT rather than the ACT – a lot of unis recommend the SAT over the ACT (the one’s that I’m looking into do anyway)Hope I helped =)

Tell you what…go to TJMaxx or Marshall’s and you will find those brands there, and save a bundle of money. You don’t have to go to the actual store. And I really hope you don’t want to shop there because every other kid does and they’ll think you’re cool if you do, because that’s just pathetic…no offense. As for aquiring the money…you can baby-sit, clean someone’s house, garage or yard, wash cars, or get a paper route.
Try covergirl queen collection or milani they have really good inexpensive makeup for the african american skin tones.
If it is a PS3 Slim then the power supply is universal (it can be connected in any country when using a plug adapter, no converter is needed). The “fat” PS3 does not have a universal power supply, and Sony says that the console can NOT be run when connected to a power converter.
Amendment XV (the Fifteenth Amendment) of the United States Constitution provides that governments in the United States may not prevent a citizen from voting because of his race, color, or previous condition of servitude (slavery). It was ratified on February 3, 1870.Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. The Fifteenth Amendment (1870) is one of the Amendments passed after the Civil War, known as the Reconstruction Amendments. This amendment prohibits the states or the federal government from using a citizen’s race, color, or previous status as a slave as a voting qualification. Its basic purpose was to enfranchise former slaves. The first person to vote under the provisions of the amendment was Thomas Mundy Peterson who cast his ballot in a Perth Amboy school board election being held on February 4, 1870, the day after the fifteenth amendment was ratified. But it was not really until the Voting Rights Act in 1965, almost a century later, that the full promise of the fifteenth amendment was actually achieved in all states. After the passage on a per capita and absolute basis, more blacks were elected to political office during the period from 1865 to 1880 than at any other time in American history. Although no state elected a black governor during Reconstruction, a number of state legislatures were effectively under the control of a substantial African American caucus. These legislatures brought in programs that are considered part of government’s duty now, but at the time were radical, such as universal public education. They also set aside all racially biased laws, even those prohibiting interracial marriage (so-called anti-miscegenation laws).Despite the efforts of groups like the Ku Klux Klan to intimidate black voters and white Republicans, assurance of federal support for democratically elected southern governments meant that most Republican voters could both vote and rule in confidence. For example, when an all-white mob attempted to take over the interracial government of New Orleans, President Ulysses S. Grant sent in federal troops to restore the elected mayor. However, after the close election of Rutherford B. Hayes, Hayes, in order to mollify the South, agreed to withdraw federal troops. He also overlooked poll violence in the deep south, despite several attempts by the Republicans to pass laws assuring the rights of black voters and to punish intimidation. To show the unwillingness of Congress to take any action at this time, even a bill that would have required incidents of violence only at polling places to be publicized failed to be passed. Without the restrictions, voting place violence against blacks and Republicans increased, including instances of murder. Most of this was done without any interference by law enforcement, and often even with their co-operation.By the 1890s, many southern states had rigorous voter qualification laws, including literacy tests and poll taxes. Some states even made it difficult to find a place to register to vote.Congress proposed the Fifteenth Amendment on February 26, 1869.[1] The following states ratified the amendment: 1. Nevada (March 1, 1869) 2. West Virginia (March 3, 1869) 3. Illinois (March 5, 1869) 4. Louisiana (March 5, 1869) 5. Michigan (March 5, 1869) 6. North Carolina (March 5, 1869) 7. Wisconsin (March 5, 1869) 8. Maine (March 11, 1869) 9. Massachusetts (March 12, 1869) 10. Arkansas (March 15, 1869) 11. South Carolina (March 15, 1869) 12. Pennsylvania (March 25, 1869) 13. New York (April 14, 1869, rescinded on January 5, 1870, rescinded the rescission on March 30, 1970) 14. Indiana (May 14, 1869) 15. Connecticut (May 19, 1869) 16. Florida (June 14, 1869) 17. Georgia (February 2, 1870) 28. Iowa (February 3, 1870)Ratification was completed on February 3, 1870. The amendment was subsequently ratified by the following states: 1. Nebraska (February 17, 1870) 2. Texas (February 18, 1870) 3. New Jersey (February 15, 1871, after having rejected it on February 7, 1870) 4. Canadians to me have a very clear and clean sound, largely because they still pronounce the vowels with a certain definiteness. That’s the reason for the way they say mouse and house – the u is still there definitely. Doctor is another word they say with mostly o sounds – not “dahk-ter” but “dawk-tor.” They are more careful about their consonants, too, and you don’t hear them slur their t’s into d’s much – lit-tel, not liddel or lit- ul, for example. Americans hear these differences and right away attend only to the parts that are different, so they have an exaggerated impression of what is said…
It’s usually around Labor Day – so toward the end of August/the beginning of September. Although, as you said, there are exceptions – some start earlier, others start later. Often, unis in the south start earlier, those in the north start later – and some in NYC don’t start until October! But the range is from August to October, with most opening just before or just after the first week of September.

Um how exactly are they imperializing us? By installing governments so that people of that country can rule themselves, independent of external influences? Look at Afghanistan, previously they were under the rule of a regime that did utterly despicable acts to its citizen’s. Now its own people can elect leaders THEY want and those leaders respect their citizens. I live in Australia. The only American imperialization I see is the occasional military ship stopping off in town to resupply, or McDonald’s. Think about what you said. You cannot fool all the people all the time. Well, if they were really up to something bad, wouldn’t EVERYONE see it? Think about it, the Americans sure have done some bad stuff, but seriously, how can you compare them to say, Soviet Russia or Nazi Germany?
