Oak Carved Desk Free Information

After reading the reviews of this product, I was hesatant to buy, But I have had very good service with Amazon.com in the past and thought I’d risk it. Sure enough when the board arived it was broken, I asked the driver to wait while I inspected it, when I saw that it was broken, I declined delivery. Then I called Amazon.com, The lady was very helpful and courtious and placed another bord on order for me then. When the second board arived it was packaged no better than the first but this time it was marked fragile and arrived in perfect condition. My advice would be to order this only if you want a good bulletin board at a good price but don’t need it right away.
I’m writing my book and I need help?
Okay, I am starting to write mt novel. I feel confident, and good about the idea. Just one thing is it better to write like this:Miranda turned to the door, still scared to enter the door. She couldn’t face him. Many before her told her that he was mean viscous, ignorant, and narrow-minded. Miranda mustered up the courage to put her handle on the door. Without her noticing, it turned, and turned. Finally the door was open. At the big oak Oak Carved desk desk sat the silver bearded man. Carved on his face was a scowl. Miranda knew she had to work hard to get his approval. But she also knew the task would not be easy….Or this way:I put my hand onto the door, you could visibly see it shaking violently. I just couldn’t face him. I have heard frommany others he was mean, narrow-minded. But I decided to grow some balls, and take a chance. Without my mind really approving my hands to move, they did. The bronze handle started turning, and turning. In a nano-second, the door was wide open. At the big oak desk sat a short, grungy, fat man. The man had a scowl carved into his face. I knew I had to work hard for his approval. But I just had this bad feeling it wouldn’t be easy…Okay. I just don’t want it to be I, I, I, if I decided to use the second one. Bought this phone for our newly remodeled kitchen. When we hooked it up we heard nothing through the hand set. Speaker phone had dial tone but not handset. Plugged in a hand set from one of our other old phones and it worked. Notified Crosley, they sent us a new handset, now that one works but there is loud static. Guess I’ll call Crosley again and hope they send me another one that works correctly.
Similar to another reviewer earlier this year, my phone will not hang up. As soon as the phone is plugged in, a dial tone is present, which is of course good. However, placing the phone on the hook does not disconnect it from the line. Even if the phone is plugged in with the receiver on the hook, it still does not disconnect. Same behavior if the speaker phone is used. The end result of this is that no phone in the house will work as it causes the phone line to behave as if there was a phone off the hook (which there is not!). This started occurring after a few days of use. Unfortunately, I purchased the item in July, and did not install it until September (we were saving it for a new house we were moving into). Had I tried it right away, I would have likely discovered the problem and have been able to return it. I will not buy another one – very disappointed. As this is the second time this has happened to two separate people, buyers should be very cautious with this as it seems to be a recurring problem on multiple phones. I suppose Amazon could have re-sold the faulty phone from the earlier reviewer (May 2009) to me (in July 2009) – I would hope that was not the case, though.
I had a phone like this a long time ago and this is so much better than the other one was and is up to date woiith a hold button and I just love this phone and the price is so right!
This phone is replacing a similar wall phone we have had for decades. It has even more updated features than the first one we purchased in the 70s and the last one we purchased in the late 80s. It blends with our decor and is a wonderfully modern and functional phone.
the cork boards were nice but I had six( yes 6)out of 6 broken in shipment. I finally had to purchase them locally
We ordered one of these cork boards a year ago and unlike many others, Ours arrived without damage of any kind. We are so pleased that we are already talking about ordering a second one specifically for the kids.
I was hesitant to order these boards after the poor reviews. Free shipping was the strongest point in the decision to order them. Three out of four came in great shape. The last one was damaged in shipping. Amazon authorized the return and immediately shipped another one. The great customer service by Amazon has me sold for future purchases.
I was worried about ordering this because of all the reports of shipping damage, but I figured it was worth the risk for the excellent price.
Either they worked out the packaging to prevent damage or I got lucky, because mine showed up in perfect condition.
This board is nice and sturdy. It comes with hardware for mounting it on the wall, but it is rigid enough that we are just moving it from room to room as needed and leaning it against a wall, putting it on a desk, etc. (it has a huge map tacked to it which we use for account geography reference)
