The only reason I didn’t rate this as ‘1′ is because the product shipped more quickly than the estimated arrival date. As for the phone itself…It looks like plastic – and a good portion of it IS plastic. On the part that is metal (I think it’s metal) around the base of the phone, where the goldish-brassy looking design is, there a large seam that does not sit flush to the unit. This also makes it look cheap and junky. The cord going from the receiver to the unit is extraordinarily short and awkward, and is permanently fixed to the receiver; so there’s no hope of swapping it out. (You can unplug from the base, but that’s it.)As for the sound quality, it’s not very good. There is a crackling noise with this phone that is not present with our ordinary phone.I know this phone wasn’t very expensive (compared to other decorative phones), and I guess I should have taken that into consideration when I was looking at it. I can see why this is priced lower than other ones I saw

When painting a reproduction of an old masterpiece, should I paint/copy the artist signature?
I do Reproduction Secretary desk not make counterfeits, I just paint commissioned reproductions of old masterpieces and I mention that it is a reproduction on the back of the painting!Thank you! I appreciate your advice!

  1. The phone is attractive and constructed well with quality materials, unlike most junk made in China.
