‘Devil/evil’ and ‘good/God’: How did these pairs originate in the english language?
I’m guessing one originated from the Pair English mahogany other. For example, perhaps the word ‘God’ came from the english word for ‘good’, but I’m not sure. Does anyone know the origin of these words? Just thought it was interesting. I’m not reading into this, just curious about the language.
