One bright and sunny day, a little girl merrily rode her bicycle down the street. Her smile was wide as the wind swept her dark curls from her face. Her backpack was heavy, but that did not bother her. She was going to her favorite place in the world: The Girard Free Library. She loved every aspect of the library, from the stacks upon stacks of books, to the big comfortable couches in the reference room. When she finally Oak desk Heavy reached her destination, she practically skipped through the doorway and sat down at a computer. She searched for her books quickly and easily on the electronic card catalogue. When she found the books that she wanted, she walked up to the front desk to check them out. She could barely see over the big oak counter, but that did not intimidate her as she stretched up on her toes to address the librarian. The librarian greeted her with a big grin and a red lollipop. The little girl said goodbye to the librarian, packed her books securely in her backpack and jumped back on her bicycle to go home. On the smooth ride back to her house, she decided that the library would always be her favorite place to go. She thought that no matter what, the library would always make her feel happy and at ease.
