OMG…for the money I paid for this desk, it’s beautiful!!! It arrived earlier than I expected. It was easy to put together, time consuming but easy. I am very pleased!!
I bought an L shaped desk, and on one side of the “L”, there is a hutch. How do I decorate the hutch?
The room is almost a super pale yellow/linnen color with hard wood floors. The I have an iris and desk Hutch Newspaper some bamboo, a Live Laugh Love chinese picture, some books, and a green and white leaf pattern chair. The vibe is natural/hippy. I want to do something cool on top of the hutch that would add to the room but I dont know how to decorate this. This desk is the highest quality peice of furniture I have ever put together out of a box. The instructions were clear and precise and the peices fit together perfectly. The price was right and I love using this desk on a daily basis.
This desk is a good value for the money. Yes, it was difficult to put together, but aren’t they all. Everything arrived in one piece, on time, with directions written in English and nothing missing. A step ahead of others. It’s solid even if laminated and looks well in my living room where I needed it to be. I’ve certainly seen less for more money.
This computer desk fits my needs perfectly: two file drawers, computer compartment, and storage cubbies for manuals and supplies. The assembly time for me was ten hours. Be sure to go to the website for helpful assembly hints.

My husband did the assembly work and said that the instructions were clear and all the pieces fit amazingly well together. The project took about 5 hours to complete and required two screw drivers (phillips and flat) and a hammer. Follow the directions step-by-step and take your time.
***His advice concerning tightening the “hidden cams.” Overdoing will cause the particle board to break up—under doing will lead to instability. Make each one very snug but don’t over-tighten. Don’t just turn 210 degrees. Each hole is slightly different and may require fewer degrees to achieve the correct expansion of the cam dowel***
We have an iMac so he made two shelves in the section designated for the CPU giving us more space for letter-size folders/portfolios and assorted papers.
I plan to get a desk pad to prevent the keyboard from scruffing the surface of the shelf. (Happened to the old one after years of use). We also bought different hardware for the drawers. Holes in the front panels were pre-cut so we just puttied them in.

I love the desk, very fast and easy to put together. I put it together by myself in 15 minutes. The designers really thought through what a good computer desk should be, there are holes to run computer cables throughout the entire desk and hutch. The only flaw, and the reason for the 4 stars, is I am slightly disappointed in the white finish. It is is not completely finished on some of the edges and the surface of the desk scuffs very easily. Other than that, I could not be happier with the desk.
I purchased this desk for the whole family to use. I had a small space and this desk was perfect. The desk top workspace area is large enough to accomodate a flatscreen monitor (possible 19″ max), keyboard & mouse plus some workspace. I would not suggest a regular monitor. A laptop is perfect for a student workplace & studying too. The shelves are not deep enough for a large size printer. It is very sturdy when asembled and equipment/items are placed on it. Unfortunately it took me more than 3 minutes to assemble but that’s okay I ended up with the perfect desk for my family and student.
The desk is well designed and high quality. It was easy to put together and it holds together very nicely. I was worried that an interlocking system would come apart easily; but im happy to say that once its together, its solid.
