I recently bought this desk, I was a little skeptical about at first (before I received it) because of the reviews that I read about it. Once I got it (ordered from CSN Stores) I decide to take my time and build it carefully since most of the reviews seem to me like they were result of poor construction. The first thing I noticed were all of the warnings: if the box was damage or if anything was damage, they tell you what to and how to get replacement pieces, etc. Fortunately all my pieces were in good condition. The frame of the desk is metal and the drawers and table top are compressed wood laminated with a maple colored laminated. I first checked that all the pieces were there and stated building it. It was pretty simple the instructions are not as clear as IKEA’s but they were understandable. Now I have all put together with my laptop on top, I’m happy to say that it rolls quite well, the drawers run smoothly and the lock on the top drawers gave me some trouble at first but now if

    It serves my purpose, but I don’t feel like it’s worth the money. The drawers don’t roll out easily and the wheels suck. If you plan on rolling it around alot, don’t buy this one. The plastic piece that goes up into the metal leg bends and the wheel falls out or sits sideways.
