Best Materials On Desk Cheap

I received the pad in a carton wrap – not really a box. The concierge didn’t even think there was anything inside this piece of carton. The “box” was bent in 3 places so I was afraid the pad would be damaged. It was somewhat bent and it took about 3 days for it to be completely flat laid down on the desk. SO I was disappointing at first, and now I find ok. I wish the surface was less shiny, with a matte finish, but perhaps the surface would not be as comfortable for writing. It’s a little overpriced though… I would have guessed something like this would be $15-$20.

I just painted an old computer desk(cheap) with semi gloss paint and it’s scraping off. What can desk Cheap I do about it?
Is there a sealer or something I can put on to protect it from scraping off? I have a distressed look going and don’t want it to look perfect, but old instead.

  1. Finally! I great mouse pad. I got this as a mouse pad, not as a desk protector as it’s advertised. Other sites have sold large mouse pads in the past but I guess they have gone out of fashion as no one sells them anymore. This however is perfect. I ordered the smallest size hoping it was big enough but unfortunately it was not, so ordering again in a larger size to accommodate both my mouse and keyboard. Really happy with it, great quality. Highly recommend for those looking for very large surface pads for keyboard and mouse.

  2. These mats accomplish exactly what we were looking for. They protect the conference room table while you are still able to write with them in place.

  3. I use it for a mouse pad and I let it hang over the edge of the desk a little so the desk doesn’t cut into my arm. I thought it would thicker, like a mouse pad, but I’ve grown to like it. It’s a great surface for a laser mouse. The foam on the back keeps it in place really well, no slipping and sliding.

  4. What a disappointment! This item arrived today and as noted by a previous reviewer, the light flops around and it does not work. I struggled to remove two of the three batteries each time I tried a new set of batteries. The item itself is cheaply made…literally a piece of stryrofoam sitting on styro beads in a flimsy pile sleeve. And it is ugly to boot.

  5. The lapdesk came very quickly and was just as expected. I had read previous reviews and didn’t have huge expectations. It is priced accordingly and is rather on the cheap side. It fits my netbook perfectly with ample room to use the cupholder.

  6. Received the desk and returned it immediately. The light did not work; it was nearly impossible to remove the batteries; the light flopped around and came unattached while trying to place batteries.

  7. Bought this as a present for my wife’s birthday and was very dissapointed in the quality of the product. The light was so loose and broken that you could pull it out of the lap desk with just a touch of your finger which then exposed all the wiring. The light was broken and didn’t work and the bottom was only half way filled with beads so there was barely any padding between your lap and the desk itself. Very uncomfortable. I returned it and only received half of my shipping costs. In the end after returning the item I was in over 7 dollars and have no product to show for it. The next lap desk I buy will be from the store so I can open the box and look at it and not have to worry about shipping it back.
