Hey, can anyone PLS help me with this Genetics problem?I`m so despert as this my 1st genetic subject & I`m zoologist & I don`t have that much back ground about it.. unlike other students.. I feel I`m the worst there & I`m really tryin my best! ;(So, here`s the problem:-* Iii mahogany Oak The genes for mahogany eyes and ebony body are approximately 25 map units apart on chromosome III in drosophila. Assume that a mahogany-eyed female was mated to an ebony-bodied male and the resulting F1 phenotypically wild type females were mated to mahogany, ebony males. Of 1000 offspring, what would be the expected phenotypes and in what number would they be expected?(what`s this!!! I don`t wanna fail! ;( >>> cryin!)Thnx in advance! to anyone who would solve this & save me!PLS with detiles on how u solved it..not just the final answer!I wanna know how it`s done.. if u can plsThnx
