When I first put it together it was so flimsy I didn’t think it would last very long, but it has done it’s job just fine so far. I guess I don’t have room to complain because it was so cheap. It’s a good buy if your not planning on standing on to change a light on the ceiling

  1. Needed a computer set up in a pretty small space. This is not a permanent space/solution, but it works great for now. Not the sturdiest and would not choose to keep for a permanent placement, but for the year or so I need it, the size is perfect. Easy to assemble. Little wobbly, but works for now.

  2. This is a great computer stand. It holds a lot of weight on the top table. I put my laptop, recording equipment, a mixer, a lamp, and sometimes even a plate of food on it and it all fits. The bottom table is just as study. Mine is a little squeaky sometimes coming from somewhere on the inside of one of the legs. Other than that, you can’t beat this price.

  3. The desk is a basic, small computer desk. It was edelivered weel within the time allotted and serves its purpose.

  4. This desk, although extremely inexpensive, is such poor quality that I do not feel comfortable even putting a computer monitor on it. It is wobbly and if a light wind were to blow through it would most definitely fall over. For $10 more at staples there is a similar desk of extremely high quality for its price that is a much better choice.

  5. This product is misleading as advertised. It came up in a search for desks. However, it only includes the top part (the shelving), not the desk. To get that whole setup, it’s $152.

    This might be a decent product…if I had a desk…

The picture should show the HUTCH SECTION ONLY and not the whole thing unless the product includes the desk.

  6. DISCUSSING THEY SEND ME 2 TOPS OF THE DESK AND THEY SAID THEY ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO CORRECT IT TWICE SO NOW I HAVE TO DESK TOPS BECAUSE SOMEONE COULD NOT READ OR UNDERSTAND THE ORDER SO IF ANYONE NEEDS A DESKTOP I HAVE TWO. I AM VERY UNDERSET AND I THINK I WILL TAKE A YEAR BREAK FROM ORDERING FROM THEM BY THAT TIME SOMEONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO READ

  7. In fact, what I wanted to buy was the desk not the hutch. I didnt pay attention to the tittle of the item, so when I saw the picture, I thought that target is selling the whole thing, the desk and the hutch, and they are just 100$, so I bought it. However, after it arrived, I realized I bought the wrong thing, since it would be too troublesome to send it back to target, and target doesnt have the local store return policy, I decide to keep it.

  8. We didn’t even end up buying this because we thought this was a desk by looking at the picture. Apparently it is just the shelves. The only way we figured this out was through another customer review. I see this as false advertising and they should be more careful about the way the describe their products.

  9. When my desk arrived to my home. I noticed that I was missing all of the hardware which I got sent out to me fairly quickly. Once I started putting the desk together, I noticed that I was missing the support frame for the tray. I requested this item and they sent me the regular frame tray (which now I have two of). I am waiting to see if they will send out the correct part that I am missing. They asked me if I would send them a picture of the part that they sent me and I was unable to do so at the present time. The desk itself (minus that tray) works quite well. Very sturdy and I am enjoying it…unfortunately I will never buy from this manufactorer again.

  10. Great desk for the money! Took longer than expected to assemble, mostly because the screws were not a perfect fit at times–some fiddling was required. But overall, nice design and excellent price.

  11. While it took me much longer than anticipated (directions could be more detailed) to put this item together, it has been just wanted we wanted. It was purchased to give my daughter somewhere to do her hair and face separate from the bathroom , we only have one. The glass makes it blend well with the room and not intrusive. Overall very pleased with the purchase, timing was good to as we see the price has gone up since our purchase.

  12. Moving into an apartment after college and starting grad school, I needed a desk that allowed me to have my iMac/keyboard/mouse all accessible while also having a textbook and notebook open, and this desk definitely provides enough space for that. As to it being too short for adults, I’m a 5′6 female and find it a very comfortable height with my adjustable office chair – there’s probably 4″ between my knees and the keyboard tray. So enough work space? Check. Enough leg-room? Check.

Okay, so this thing was kinda a bear to put together, but definitely doable. I did it all by myself in about an hour – and that was including having to undo a couple of pieces that I put on upside down or backwards. FYI, the corner piece goes with the suction cup brackets on the top, not the bottom, and double check that the thicker piece of the legs is running front to back from top to bottom, otherwise you’ll end up with the cross support on your shins!

My ONLY complaint with the desk (besides the instructions being a little vague as to directionality of pieces) is that when I went to assemble the keyboard tray, the glass would not fit into the frame. It was about a millimeter or so off, just enough that the glass wouldn’t sit down in the frame. I finally got out the hammer and banged the insides of the frame down a bit on either side and the glass popped right in.

Overall a very good desk, and for the price with free shipping, you really can’t beat it if you’re looking for a desk with lots of work space on a budget.

P.S. Asthetically, the silver and glass combination looks wonderfully sleek with an aluminum iMac or MacBook…. :-)
